A Message From Our President I’ve been fortunate during my career. I have an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago. I’m a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and I’ve had the opportunity to use quality and process improvement tools throughout my career. I’ve been using lean techniques since before I can ever remember the term “lean” being attached to them. I’ve learned new product development from the best and I’ve put my knowledge to use in managing 65% of a premium consumer brand’s successful launches. And in doing all of this, I’ve been able to see how the rest of the world does things through extensive travel including international assignments in Japan and Mexico. While I’ve seen a lot of good along the way, I’ve also seen organizations that are less than perfect. Unfortunately, if any of our companies fall in the later category, someone down the street or across the country is probably eating our lunch. And with globalization, someone is doing it better in India or China or another country while we sleep. That’s why we’re so passionate about what we do!
